The game is in kinda good and bad state so its difficult to tell if the game is gonna die or not, i think it will but that would take a long.long. Right now the only way to keep the servers up is to pay for some other things (Like small ravenfield multiplayer projects) and other stuff like that, it also died cause there were rude people and idiots who would just bully others, the biggest and well know ones are the "Top-clans" who were bassicaly the ruddest in the game and would call the servers (they made) by rude names and would insult the Developer/s who were gone long ago. There are still some servers do have thier lifespam, the game right now is bassicaly "dead game" and then it becomes "a little alive game" then "dead game" and it goes on and on.but everything has its end so the game will probbalby die.right now the game will probbalby not die that easiely since there are few peole (Like a chinese guy) who are making the game alive, so its kinda 50/50. The reason it died is because the developer/s ran out of money and couldt keep the servers and connection up. "It makes no sense and is why The Multiplayer mod died." and modders arent kind of alive in the ravenfield mulitplayer community, if you go on thier discord there very rarely any chatting.and if they wanted to make it have mods they will have to remake almost the entire games code which would take time. Well sadly the community of the ravenfield multiplayer is well.kinda dead.however ther are others who are still making servers and still are making the game alive, the most well know one i know is the chinese guy who makes servers (the fully fuctinal) ones in just a few minutes.dont quite know how. The Ravenfield Modding community has created some amazing shit, and I think instead of begging Steelraven for multiplayer, modders could make it themselves. It makes no sense and is why The Multiplayer mod died. It's like CSGO having a ton of mods in the workshop you can only use while playing alone, but the CSGO servers are only allowed to run content that comes with the game instead of allowing hosts to use whatever mods they want. like every other server-browser based, highly modifiable, multiplayer game. The way it should be is, hosts should be allowed to run whatever mods they want, and players would download them all by joining. All the sandbox elements and customizability of Ravenfield, but multiplayer! In theory, this was the Ravenfield Multiplayer Mods main appeal. Maybe you wanna run a modpack with futuristic guns and tacticool outfits. With all the mods Ravenfield has to offer, server owners can make custom games altogether. The first problem with Ravenfield multiplayer is the lack of options for server owners.

Ravenfield multiplayer takes this away, when it doesn't have to be that way. So let's be frank here, the two main appeals of Ravenfield is it's customizability and sandbox elements.
